  • For new clients, Amy is currently offering a waitlist which you can join here. Alternatively, you can contact the clinic via email at hello@psychologyfolk.com or by phone (07)52215873 (Monday to Friday 9am to 2pm). If calling outside of reception hours, please leave a message and your call will be returned within one business day. For current clients online bookings are available.

  • No, you do not need a referral to attend psychology sessions, however, you won’t be able to receive a Medicare rebate without a referral. Feel free to contact us to discuss your suitability for treatment and schedule an appointment.

    You may be eligible for a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) if you meet criteria for a diagnosable mental health condition. The easiest way to explore this option is by booking in an extended appointment with your General Practitioner and discussing your current concerns.

  • $245 per 60-minute session with Amy.

    We strive to keep mental health care accessible for the community hence why our fees are below the current APS and AAPI National Schedule of Recommended Fees of $311.

  • When appointments are scheduled, Amy has prepared for your session and set aside time in her schedule for you. In order to respect that time we kindly ask for 48 hours notice for cancelling or rescheduling appointments.

    For changes made:

    Less than 48 hours (2 business days) notice: 50% of usual fee charged.

    Less than 24 hours (1 business day) notice: 100% of usual fee charged.

    Please note that we understand emergencies do happen. Please call the clinic if you are unable to attend an appointment due to an emergency.
